LG has put together another great phone with the LG Viewty Smart GC900. It is the second Viewty phone from LG on the market and is a definite step up from the first generation. It is also packed into a fairly small package, considering what is inside. Not only is it small, it weighs in at only 102 grams, so it won't be weighing you down.

Superior Camera On Board
The most predominant feature of the Viewty smart phone is the excellent 8 megapixel auto focus camera with Schneider-Kreuznach lens. This camera is among the best available on any mobile phone. The intelligent shot mode is so easy to use that it practically eliminates the need to check or change any settings while taking pictures. The Viewty's camera also features sensitivity up to ISO 1600, Panorama Shot, Beauty Shot, Multi-Face Detection, Touch Shot, Art Shot, Continuous Shot, DVD-quality D1 video recording and LED flash, rather than the xenon flash that the previous Viewty phone had.

Sleep Elegance
As far as looks go, the Viewty Smart is a pretty plain looking black touch screen phone on one side and a very sleek looking digital camera on the other side. It looks like and very confused piece of technology, not sure whether it's a phone or camera. So if you're looking for a phone that will stand up to a variety of picture taking needs, the Viewty is a great choice in mobile phones.

Huge Screen Display
The display is a bright 3 inch WVGA touch screen that is 800 x 480 pixels. The touch screen user interface is S-class, like the LG Arena, but with some slight upgrades. Pictures look brilliant on this display, but even better once you transfer them to a PC. The 8 megapixels camera is great for just about any situation you might need it for.

Total Connectivity
LG has also packed many features into the Viewty Smart. It has Bluetooth support, Wi-Fi, an onboard music player, GPS, USB, a microSD slot, 1.5GB of internal memory and much more. No matter what you need your mobile phone for; the Viewty Smart should be more than up to the task.

It might not be the best mobile phone on the market, but the LG Viewty Smart 990GC is a great mobile device for anyone who needs a multi-function phone. Few mobile phones can match the Viewty for picture taking, which gives it a bit of an edge for some. It all comes down to what you need in a mobile phone personally, but you really can't go wrong with the Viewty, what it isn't best at, it is still on par with.
